Operating throughout the Ben Lomond season, our transfers connect visitors travelling to and from Ben Lomond Snow Sports, alpine walking tracks and the stunning high-country landscapes that make Ben Lomond one of Tasmania's most unique destinations.

How the Transfer Works

Ben Lomond Base to Ben Lomond Village

Passengers travelling from the Ben Lomond Base are collected from the designated Wild Island Adventures pickup area near the Ben Lomond Base facilities.

From the base, passengers travel to the Lower Car Park where they transfer onto the official mountain shuttle buses which operate through Jacob's Ladder and continue to Ben Lomond Village.

Ben Lomond Village to Ben Lomond Base

Passengers returning from the village are collected from the designated pickup location near Ben Lomond Snow Sports.

The shuttle bus transports passengers down Jacob's Ladder to the Lower Car Park where they transfer to the Wild Island Adventures vehicle for the remainder of the journey to the Ben Lomond Base.

Shuttle Bus Changeover Included

The changeover between Wild Island Adventures and the mountain shuttle buses at the Lower Car Park is fully included in your booking price.

There are no additional fees, tickets or payments required.

Experience Jacob's Ladder

One of the highlights of any trip to Ben Lomond is travelling through Jacob's Ladder.

Widely regarded as one of Australia's most spectacular mountain roads, Jacob's Ladder climbs dramatically through a series of hairpin bends carved into the mountainside.

The journey provides incredible panoramic views across Tasmania's northern highlands and is often one of the most photographed sections of the entire Ben Lomond experience.

By using the shuttle system, visitors can enjoy these breathtaking views without the challenge of navigating the steep alpine road themselves.
