Walls of Jerusalem Itinerary
Day 1: Wild Dog Carpark to Wild Dog Campground
Start at Wild Dog Carpark early morning.
Follow the trail to Wild Dog Creek, enjoying the forested surroundings.
Arrive at Wild Dog Campground (approx. 4 km).
Set up camp and explore nearby sights or relax by the creek.
Day 2: Wild Dog Campground to Dixons Campground
Depart Wild Dog Campground after breakfast.
Trek through diverse terrain including alpine meadows and forests.
Reach Dixons Campground (approx. 7 km).
Explore nearby rock formations or rest at the site.
Day 3: Dixons Campground to Lake Adelaide Campground
Leave Dixons Campground heading towards Lake Adelaide.
Pass viewpoints of the Walls of Jerusalem, spotting unique flora and fauna.
Arrive at Lake Adelaide Campground (approx. 5 km).
Camp near the shoreline, perfect for sunset views.
Day 4: Lake Adelaide Campground to Wild Dog Carpark
Begin the return journey to Wild Dog Carpark.
Retrace the route through alpine landscapes and shaded forests.
Arrive back at Wild Dog Carpark (approx. 10 km).
End of the Walls of Jerusalem circuit.

Total distance approx. 26 km over 4 days.
Terrain includes moderate ascents and descents with rocky and forested paths.
Ensure you carry suitable gear for variable weather conditions.
Water sources are available at campgrounds but always treat water before drinking.
